GALATASARAY ANNOUNCES BIRTH OF OSIMHEN'S SECOND CHILD, REVEALS BABY'S NAME

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen and his girlfriend, Stefanie Ladewig, have welcomed their second child, a baby girl named Liora Audrey.

Osimhen’s Turkish club, Galatasaray, announced the arrival of the couple’s daughter in a congratulatory message shared on social media on Thursday.

“Our Football A Team player Victor Osimhen and Stefanie have welcomed a baby girl into the world.

“We congratulate the couple Victor and Stefanie; we wish their newborn baby Liora Audrey a long, healthy, and happy life,” the club stated.

The newborn is the couple’s second child. Their first daughter, Hailey, was born in October 2022.

Ladewig, a Cameroonian-German fashion model and social media influencer, reportedly began dating the Nigerian international in 2019 when he was playing for German Bundesliga side Wolfsburg.

Earlier this month, reports emerged that Ladewig had been involved in a three-vehicle road accident while heavily pregnant. However, Turkish media reports indicated that she escaped the crash without injuries.

Meanwhile, Osimhen is expected to be available for Galatasaray’s league encounter against Konyaspor on Friday after being included in the squad for the fixture.

The 27-year-old forward heads into the match on the back of an impressive performance against city rivals Fenerbahce on Monday, when he scored twice to help Galatasaray secure victory in the Istanbul derby.

Galatasaray currently sit top of the league standings after nine matches, with Osimhen having scored eight goals to emerge among the competition’s joint-leading scorers.
